Wake looked good, as did the offense. Papi and Manny got us going early and never looked back. Manny's homer was something, almost getting into the upper deck in right field. Nice to see Kapler get his first homer of the year.
I love it when we score 11 and leave only 4 on. That's good baseball. We also looked pretty bad with the D. I know Cora hasn't played any third this year, but throwing errors are hard to swallow.
Giving Johnny and Mueller a day off with Tek's scheduled day off was a gutsy move for Tito. I'm sure the media would have hounded him to Mars if we had got swept. It all work out.
Looks like Delcarmen is human after all. Hope he can forget about it move on. He got two quick outs in the bottom of the 9th but got hammered. It happens and no harm done. Maybe he learned a few things about major league hitters.
