After what has been pretty nuch a season long power drought for Kevin Millar may be over. He's hit 3 homers in the last 2 games, and hit the ball real hard several other times for outs.
Papi's homer looked like icing on the cake, but thanks to continued lousy defense it turned out to be the gamer. Two outfield error led to teo unearned runs and Renteria tryed to make a flip too fast on what looked to be a game ending double play. Of the six runs given up, 4 were unearned.
Clement pitched well, giving us 8 and only giving up two earned runs. Timlin came in in the ninth and got it done despite the error.
Of note Youk started the game at second. I can't believe it took this long for him to start there. We need to get this guy into the lineup.
