Who would believe it? Wake goes the distance, give up three hits and one run, strikes out 12, and loses. I could be sick. See, we got three hits all day too. And with guys on first and third with two out in ninth Olerud struck out on high heat from Rivera.
Hated to lose this one, but it wasn't a give away. The Yankees earned it.
We took one of three in thier house, so in three weeks when they're in Fenway hopefully we can return the favor and finish first for the first time in 10 years.
