Devil Ray 5 - Red Sox 4
That one hurt. Make a nice comeback in the top of the 9th only to live for one pitch in bottom. At least the homer was no cheapie. That ball was out and out crushed.
Wake pitched a pretty good game. The defense could have been better behind him, but the Sox are playing reasonably error free if not spectacular defense.
Bellhorn had a nice night at the plate, but for goodness sake you can't get picked off second right after you steal it! That was awful.
Kazmir pitched well, but when hits the same two guys he plugged last year it makes you wonder. This guys small and throws real hard. Reminds a bit of Guidry in the 70's. I wonder if his arm will hold up.
Let's get them tomorrow with Schill.
