Well, the baseball season didn’t start out as well as I’d hoped. The Yankees kicked our butts, big time. But hey, it’s one game and they were primed to get back at us. I didn’t think Johnson was as good as he was several years ago, but he got the outs when he needed to.

Wells wasn’t sharp. That’s all there is to it. Our hitting could have been a little more clutch, not that it would have mattered.

Going into the season I’m not comfortable with the starting rotation. MAYBE Arroyo improves over last year, so replacing Lowes regular season performance shouldn’t be hard. But, where we gonna pick up Pedro’s wins? Can Clement get 16? Can Wells? Can Schill be expected to give us 21 again?

With our lineup and bullpen a guy with a 4.5 ERA should get 16-17 wins. Hold your breath, fellow Sox lovers, it’s going to be wild ride!
