Trot should get the W for this one. He threw a guy out at the plate (did Tek get the tag on the runner?) and drove in the winning run with a single in the ninth, bases loaded and two out.
Schill didn't look too good early. His fastball is still 2-3 MPH off last year year and wasn't hitting his spots. For some reason he seemed to find his grove in the third and pitched 4 shut out innings allowing the team to get back into it.
Renteria and Mueller are both hitting well and it really shows in the team run production. Johnny came on with a big pinch hit, well walk actually, late in the game. You gotta love this guy.
Timlin was money as usual. As has been the story most of the season, the offense carried the day.
